Goodmorning Sir, Yes i agree with you on many many points and your comments are clear but when I read the sentence about proof of existance of full Enlightement saying that there are only a mere Arahants in this world i felt like responding please don't take it the wrong way i just want to help a fellow Buddhist on his path.Well It is my strong believe that there are in fact a lot of Buddhas in this World today but remember your own Spiritual Teacher/Guide is the most Holy of them all for he encompasses all the Buddhas Wisdom and Compassion and manifests himself as A Spiritual Teacher in human form so that we may encounter with him enabeling us to develop true Gurudevotion witch in my opinion is the most important of all [of realisations I mean] In Compassion for all yours truly Minko Pieters[Sonam Tharchin]

Buddhism is indeed fascinating. Perhaps a Buddhist charity might wish to join with the Udrian Orthodox Church's plans to put a great amount of money into charity projects in West Africa. Bishop Gregor Samsa, the Cathedral of Saint Andrew Eldritch, New Skadar, PA

Hey everyone, my name is Kirsten E. Karreman and I am 14 years old. I go to J.I.S The Jakarta International School. Right now I am writing an essay on Buddhism for Asian Studies, and this website, it caught my eye. Everything on here it makes sense, though I don't have a religion, this religion really inspired me. Maybe it is because it doesn't depend on a god, but on you. Many conflicts in this world exist because of the different religions that we all have. I really think that's weird since they all believe in the same god, read the same kind of holy book (bible, Koran) and believe in the same kind of things. Why would they fight over that? I mean, yes they should respect one another for whatever they believe in, but they have no right to fight over it. I live in Jakarta, Indonesia, and lot's of things have been going on here. A while ago a bomb was placed in the Marriott Hotel and took many innocent lives including my Dad's friend. This man, he was going to go back to Holland where his family would be waiting for him. But because of this lunch that he had to attend he lost his life, and his family a precious member.Last year in Bali another bomb placed and yes other lives were taken. Many people live in fright and they feel threaten to go to certain places expecting that there would be another similar incident. People who have loved ones got killed; don't know how to cope for they know that this same thing might happen again, taking another life. I really don't understand or see, what those people, terrorists, are trying to prove. If there was a god and I bet there must be one, he would never want people to kill their fellow human beings. Would he? Anyway this is all I really have to say. I hope that I kind of made a point here. Thanks for reading this. Email me if you have any comments!
